Our first KeelMaster cohort officially launched in Kenya this month with twenty ambitious young adult refugees. Roughly two-thirds of youth face unemployment, and most lack access to computers.
To give these promising participants a real opportunity to learn, grow, and compete in today’s digital world, we must create a functional learning environment. For this first group, the cost of providing laptops is approximately $3,500.
This is only the beginning.
Every contribution goes directly toward purchasing laptops for our KeelMaster students in Kenya.
Help us open doors to education, opportunity, and hope. Give today.
Every.org is KeelWorks’ secure donation platform. It does not save your credit card information.

Fredimanuel joined KeelWorks two years ago as a high school freshman, responding to a posting for an executive secretary. He quickly took on more responsibility, eventually leading HR and building our onboarding and offboarding systems from the ground up. Everyone who has been part of KeelWorks over the past two years has interacted with Fredi, and many assumed he was far older because of his leadership and professionalism.
Now finishing high school, Fredi is heading to the University of Maryland to continue his studies. While stepping back from his day-to-day duties, he will remain a board member. Fredi is a KeelWorks institution, and we're thrilled for him and his future.
My name is Srilekha Reddy, and I use AI to strengthen our fundraising and grant strategy. As Fundraising Strategic Consultant, I research potential grant sources, manage outreach, coordinate follow-ups, and support our Google Ad Grant and LinkedIn presence.
Using Claude by Anthropic, I draft foundation emails, grant communications, and team-ready documents quickly. This speeds up collaboration across time zones and saves three to four hours weekly — turning full afternoons of drafting into 30-minute first drafts — so our team can focus on strategy and impact.
In Her Own Words
I've enjoyed matching developers with projects, and it's rewarding to find placements where people feel valued and supported. I also help teams clarify their needs and choose practical paths forward.
Going forward, I hope to improve transparency in the matching process and communication. I'm always happy to connect about careers, tech, or project guidance.

At a time when we are seeing significant turnover with associates securing jobs and new graduates needing placement, we have several development projects in critical phases. This has placed a significant burden on Shenoa, and she has responded tirelessly.
We are grateful for her involvement at a critical time for KeelWorks.
This month, we launched two KeelMaster teams in Kenya. Most participants are refugees from Sudan who have fled unimaginable violence. They lack computers, reliable internet, and even electricity, but they do have access to a local NGO compound where we can build a learning space.
We are raising funds to purchase laptops and tables to create economic opportunity in a country facing massive youth unemployment. Some participants may attend college; many will launch businesses and create jobs. Please join us.
As always, we're grateful for your support.
